Josep's Mobiliari is committed to environmental ethics and sustainability through its work practices.

During 2021 we prepared to obtain the FSC® and PEFC™ certification which recognized our work to be in line with the objectives set by these organizations.

FSC® and PEFC™ are a non-governmental, independent, international and non-profit organizations created with the aim of promoting responsible forest management with the environment and society, as well as economically sustainable forests around the world. Therefore, both organizations determine the requirements that voluntarily organizations acquire with all its products from origin to final consumer.

In the course of the path that goes from the forest to the end user, raw materials are likely to go through different processes, transformations, manufacturing and distribution. For this reason, both FSC® and PEFC™ maintain a set of standards known as Chain of Custody that check and verify the traceability of products from FSC® or PEFC™ certified forests throughout the chain, from the forest up to the consumer. In this way, companies can convey to consumers with full guarantee and reliability that these FSC® or PEFC™ labelled products support a model of responsible forest management.
